Mikasa & Company, the tabletop division of ARC International North America, has opened its first retail store in the Stamford Town Center. The store puts an emphasis on sharing practical solutions for at-home entertaining, dining and gift-giving.
The Fairfield County store is just one aspect of Mikasa’s larger plan to open up in a variety of venues across the United States, said Susan Saideman, chief executive officer of Arc International, Mikasa’s parent brand.
“Mikasa & Company intends to become the nation’s leading source for all at home dining, entertaining and gift-giving solutions,” Saideman said in a release. “The Stamford store is the first one of many at-home entertaining sites to be rolled out in major markets across the country, based on a sharing theme to interact with consumers and provide a very positive shopping experience.”
