Vera Wang teams up with Kohl's

Vera Wang is one busy woman. When she’s not designing dresses for celebrity weddings or the red carpet, Wang will be focusing on designing a premium fashion and lifestyle brand – Very Vera by Vera Wang – for Kohl’s.
The Very Vera line, which will be available both in stores and online at Kohls.com beginning in fall 2007, will include sportswear, intimate apparel, handbags, leather accessories, jewelry, footwear, linens and towels.
Vera Wang said she was excited to begin working with Kohl’s on her new line, which will exude a laid-back attitude to fashion.
“The Very Vera by Vera Wang brand will retain my personal design sensibility of a relaxed effortless approach to fashion,” Wang said in a statement. “I am thrilled to create a collection of creative lifestyle and apparel products for Kohl’s.”
Kevin Mansell, president of Kohl’s, said the Very Vera collection is just one instance of how the retailer sets itself apart from their competitors.
“We are very excited to partner with Vera Wang, a renowned designer, fashion icon and celebrity. This will be a strong addition to our portfolio of exclusive and national brand offerings.”
