There’s nothing like free movie tickets to go with your next purchase of jeans. Well, that’s what American Eagle Outfitters thinks.
American Eagle has joined forces with AMC Theatres to give away movie tickets to the first 1 million customers who try on a pair of their jeans from now until July 25.
Susan McGalla, president and chief merchandising offer for the American Eagle brand, said the reason behind the free ticket offer is to promote its new line of Back to School jeans.
“We are so proud of this season’s new denim assortment that we’ve teamed up with AMC Theatres to thank our customers with a free movie ticket just for trying on a pair of our new AE jeans,” McGalla said in a statement.
The Back to School denim line includes five new women’s fits – Skinny 77, Straight 77, Boyfriend, AE Artist and Hipster – and four new men’s fits – Bootcut, Low Rise Boot, Loose and Low Rise Straight.
Two American Eagle stores in our area participating in the promotion are in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center in Scarsdale and the Palisades Center in West Nyack. For those of you who decide to try on a pair of AE jeans, you can redeem your movie tickets at the AMC Theatres in Port Chester and in the Palisades Center.
