On The Move

Lillian Vernon Corp., the online and catalog retailer based in White Plains, is moving.

The company, which was acquired by LV Catalog Holding Corp., an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc. in May, is moving their corporate headquarters to Virginia Beach.

Chief Executive Officer Michael D. Muoio confirmed that the move will be completed by Oct. 31, and said that Vernon “will be taking an apartment in Virginia Beach.”He said he is assuming she will be upon the relocation's completion.

This is the fourth relocation for the company, which was founded in 1951. In 1993, its headquarters moved from Mount Vernon to New Rochelle, only to relocate five years later to Rye. In 2004, Lillian Vernon moved to White Plains.
